Beginning Friday, August 8, the Dysart Reporter will be undergoing a few changes that we'd like to share with you, the reader.
Starting on this date, the office of the Dysart Reporter will no longer be open on a regular basis. This does not mean, however, that news or bills will not be able to be submitted in Dysart. The drop slot (located on the front door of the Reporter office) is available 24/7 to drop off news items and subscription payments.
News and advertising deadlines remain the same. Any news submitted by Monday afternoon can still be included in that Friday's paper. Advertising is still due the previous Friday by 5 p.m. If you'd like to advertise with us, you can still use many of the same methods. Contacting us via phone, or through email, is always welcomed.
As technology has changed, so has the way in which news is submitted. Many of you already submit news via email, as it remains the easiest and quickest method. News can still be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our phone number, mailing address and other pertinent information all remains the same, as does the newspaper itself. We will continue to write about interesting people, places and events in the Dysart community.
Newspapers will still be available at all your local vendors, and those of you who receive the paper in the mail will continue to receive it as you always have.
Change is never easy, but in keeping you, the reader, informed of new developments in the way we do business, the Dysart Reporter strives to remain an integral part of the community, and thanks you for being patient with us during this transition.
