Vanessa Coffey, who grew up in Garrison and now resides in Dysart, will be expanding her business of massage therapy right here in Dysart. Vanessa currently does massages out of two different locations, one in Brooklyn and one in Montezuma. Her Montezuma site is at a chiropractic office and focuses on the medical side of message. Her site in Brooklyn is more of a relaxing, spa type setting. Vanessa will be working out of Handz and Strandz, a salon just opened by Jenna Scott this past winter. Vanessa will be utilizing a perfect space in the back of the salon for her massages. So whether you need to relax for an hour or so, or work out that sports injury Vanessa is the one to call!
Vanessa began her career as a Massage Therapist about 2 years ago. She attended college at La James College in Cedar Falls. As a child Vanessa loved all things hands on, she was very artsy and always loved and appreciated learning new things. Since she graduated high school from Vinton in 2004, Vanessa has used her wide range of skills for different jobs before deciding to focus on massage. You may recognize Vanessa from when she worked at the Dysart Country Club or Sunny Crest Nursing home. She also does some in home healthcare for her grandmother and a few other clients, but she is looking to slowly step away from doing that to be able and focus on her career as a massage therapist.
Vanessa will be offering a wide range of massage services including Hot Stone Massages and Reflexology. These two types will be offered in either 30 or 60 minutes sessions. It will be $30.00 for the thirty minutes session and $60.00 for the whole hour. She will also be specializing in Infant and Prenatal Massages, Sport and Athletic Massage and also Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy. These Will be offered in a variety of times and prices. 30 minutes will be $35.00, 45 Minutes will be $45.00, 60 minutes will be $55.00, and 90 minutes will be $65.00.
