Kleinsteuber takes over at Sunnycrest

October 25, 2013
Kelli Kleppe - Reporter , Dysart Reporter

Sunnycrest Nursing Home would like to welcome their new Administrator, Peter Kleinsteuber. Pete began his role on September 27th of this year. He has over 40 years in the industry, and is very excited about his new opportunity at Sunnycrest. Peter is also currently in the process of moving to Dysart.

Pete grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, but has since lived a few different places. His mother's family is from Iowa and he also has some cousins in Iowa who farm. In 1999, Pete moved to North Dakota, where he worked in various hospital and medical settings. He was also a volunteer EMT there.

Pete has already been getting involved in the community and cannot wait until he his fully moved here and can become even more of a part of Dysart. He stated that from the moment he walked into Sunnycrest he was impressed by the level of care and attention that the staff provides for the residents. "This is people's home, it's not just an assisted living or nursing home," Pete said. He is excited to become a part of the team and develop a big picture and a path for Sunnycrest to follow so it can grow and continue to be apart of our wonderful community. Pete also mentioned that he is very fortunate to be working with his fellow coworkers at Sunnycrest. They have been doing some hiring and there are still a few more positions to be filled, but Pete feels confident in his team, their skills, and is impressed at how they instinctively go the extra mile, for each other and the residents.
