Gregory nets big fish on Lake Michigan trip

August 2, 2013

Ken Gregory and his brother frequently fish Port Washington on Lake Michigan. This is a pleasant town about 25 miles north of Milwaukee. This year, Ken got a call saying that the fish were really biting. His brother was unable to make the trip at that specific time, so Ken got together a group of friends that consisted of Dick Baker, Kim McAndrews, Marv Monroe, and Ken.

The four of them headed to Port Washington to see what they could reel in!

Although the weather was colder than normal, which made the fish harder to catch, they all had a good catch and a great time fishing on Lake Michigan. Marv nailed a 12 pound Rainbow Trout. Dick and Marv both caught large 15-pound king salmons.

The biggest fish of the trip was caught by Ken; it was a strong and admirable 22.2 pound king salmon.
