Monday, April 29, Hawkeye Community College hosted a banquet and award ceremony for the Turnaround Achievement Awards. Union Middle School 8th graders Micki Loeb and Ethan Steffen (pictured at right) were honored at the 20th Annual Turnaround Achievement Awards ceremony. 37 high school and middle school students from across the Cedar Valley were selected based on marked improvement these students made in behavior, attitude, academics, or a combination of all three.
