Happy Anniversary! Security State Bank is celebrating a 10-year anniversary at the Dysart branch on Friday, March 22. Over the past ten years, the bank has become a part of the Dysart community.
"Over the past 10 years, our community has experienced many major events; from the ice storm, the wind storm in July 2011, to the state championship football team. Through that time, we've maintained strong financial services for our community and we plan to do so in the future," said Senior Vice President David Crees in a special 10 year anniversary YouTube video message to customers.
That very video, posted on the Security State Bank Facebook page, is evidence of one of the biggest changes the bank has seen over the past 10 years, which is changing technology. The bank recently added the Facebook page, YouTube and a blog, but these are just some of the additions.
"Over the past 10 years we have implemented mobile banking, bill pay, a new ATM machine, and a new website. We have seen a change in the way customers use technology to do their banking, including direct deposit, online banking and automatic bill pay," said Vice President Mandy Brown.
The bank strives to build lasting relationships with customers and looks forward to another 10 years in Dysart.
"We will continue to provide strong financial services for the Dysart community. Our employees will continue to be involved in various activities and organizations to be an asset to the community," said Brown.
Senior Vice President David Crees, Operations Officer Susan Wieck, and Customer Services Representative Tanya Colwell have each served at the Dysart Security State Bank for all 10 years. Be sure to stop by and congratulate them.
The Dysart branch invites the public to help celebrate this milestone by stopping by to enjoy cupcakes from Scratch Cupcakery, the flavored coffee that has become a Friday favorite at the branch, and a chance to win various top secret prizes. The celebration will be held from 8:30 to 5:00 on March 22. Visit the Security State Bank Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SSBIowa for more information.
