Sam Barz was honored by the Iowa Newspaper Association with a Third Team All-State selection at the annual meeting on March 2 in Des Moines.
Barz led the Knights with 14.5 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game. Barz also recorded a team high 28 blocks on the season and compiled 44 steals on the defensive end. She finished the 2012-13 season with 35 assists and helped the ladies to a 12-8 (8-4) record in the regular season.
Barz also shot 37.5 percent from beyond the arc and provided solid senior leadership for the Knights.
