Whitney Morris and Pete Youngblut were united in marriage on September 22, 2012. The outdoor ceremony was held at the beautiful JEV Winery near Tama by Pastor Jim Radatz. The alter, decorated by the groom's aunt, consisted of an ivory steel arbor decorated with grapevines and fabric, with an old wine barrel being used as the alter table. Parents of the couple are Keith and Renee Morris of Clutier, Jolene and Rod Lorenzen of Melbourne and Len Youngblut of Dysart.
Attending the bride as Matron of Honor was her sister, Alyssa Albers. Bridesmaid were Hailey Danker, Sidney Hulme and Janelle Hayek. The bride chose an all lace ivory colored gown and carried a bouquet of wild flowers. The bridesmaids wore long purple gowns and carried smaller wild flower bouquets.
Attending the groom as Best Man was his brother Luke Youngblut. Groomsmen were Dustin Whitesell, Josh Stansbery and Josh Roberts. Ushers were Ryan Morris and Todd Cufr. The groom, groomsmen and ushers wore charcole gray tuxedos with ivory shirts and purple vests. Ringberers were Casen Albers, Jacksen Albers and Chase Morris, nephews of the bride. The brides personal attendant was Dawn Whitesell. After the wedding ceremony, a reception and dance followed at the Keystone Turner Hall. The couple is at home in Huxley, Iowa.
Whitney is a Respiratory Therapist for Iowa Health Systems in Des Moines. Pete is an entrepreneur & owner of Youngblut Ag.
