Dysart churches sponsor Vacation Bible School

August 23, 2012
Alissa Klenk - Reporter , Dysart Reporter

The Dysart Community Vacation Bible School was held July 29th through August 2nd from 5-8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. The program was sponsored by Dysart United Methodist Church, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and Zion Lutheran Church.

Each evening began with a meal provided to the children in attendance followed by a lesson in the sanctuary. The children were then divided into groups for various activities including hearing and acting out bible stories, making crafts, and playing games. The program concluded each night in the sanctuary.

This year's theme was "everything is possible with God" and was all about the sky and trusting God. Some of the crafts made by the children included kites and airplanes that corresponded with the theme.
