More local kids at Benton County Fair

Local kids at this year's Benton County Fair: top left, Alyscia Henkle received white ribbons in the light horses foaled before January 1, 2010 (mares- class 1) category and the light horse western pleasure (class 1) category. She also received blue ribbons in the barrels, poles, and bat race categories, and a red ribbon in the flags category of the horse fun show. Above center, Tarik Goken took home the prize for the champion heavy weight market beef steer and also received a blue ribbon in the Heavy Weight Beef Steer Class 1(1350-1395). Above right, Maggie Osmundson took home the prize for Champion Meat Production in poultry and was the reserve champion for non-commercial individual poultry. She also received blue ribbons in the egg production pullets, egg production hens, non-commercial poultry pen (class 1), non-commercial individual poultry (class 1) and meat production poultry (class 1) categories. At right, Natalie Hanson was named the 2012 Benton County Fair Princess. At left, Eric Miller received blue ribbons in the light weight market beef steers class 2 (1185-1245) and the heavy weight market beef steers class 3 (1510-1705) categories.
