July 12, 2012
Dysart Reporter

Students from D-G Elementary and LPC Elementary enjoyed learning about snakes during summer enrichment classes in June. They learned where snakes live, their life cycle, what snakes eat and which are venomous or not. This class was taught by Julie Carty and Lynne Ternus at

Hickory Hills. At top, Ava Raub and Emily Petersen enjoy learning about and holding a baby garter snake at the "Snakes Alive" summer enrichment class. Above, the kids gather round.
