On Wednesday, July 4th Dysart held its 27th Annual Firecracker 5K run/walk. 162 total runners and walkers took part in the 3.1 mile course around scenic Dysart. It was a beautiful morning to run... sunny and cool! Brad Wrage was the overall mens' champion with a new course record of 15:56. The old record was held by Kenny Wilcox and was 16:12. Kristin Carpenter was the overall womens' champion with a time of 21:03. The full results are as follows:
