The Dysart Historical Society is observing Iowa Museum Week with an Open House and program on Sunday, June 24th. Stella Harrington, who grew up in Dysart, has a wealth of rich memories of early Dysart which she has agreed to share with visitors. The program will be held in the new Agricultural Museum beginning around 2:00 P.M.
Refreshments, which will feature homemade kolaches, will be served. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy an interesting afternoon. Iowa Museum Week was actually last week, but due to other community activities and Father's Day, the Dysart observance was moved to this coming Sunday.
The Historical Society is planning to have other interesting programs during the summer and early fall. Be sure to watch the Dysart Reporter and the local TV channel for information.
