Julie Stanton of Marshalltown and Alan and Mona Stanton of Haverhill would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Megan Marie Stanton, to Jess Eugene Sorensen, son of Kurt and Janiece Sorensen formerly of Knoxville, Iowa and currently residing in Austin, Minnesota.
Megan is a graduate of Marshalltown High School and will be graduating in May from the University of Northern Iowa. She will be attending Des Moines University in the fall pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Megan is the granddaugher of Jerry and Carole Hadley, of Dysart. Jess is a graduate of Knoxville High School and the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed with Emerson Process Management in Marshalltown. Their wedding is set for June 2, 2012, at I.C. Catholic Church in Haverhill.
