May 11, 2012
Alissa Klenk - Reporter , Dysart Reporter

On Friday, May 4th, Joe Quandt of the Tama County Sherriff's Department and Jason Dunagan, Dysart Police Department, with the aid of a drug sniffing K-9, performed a random locker sniff. "We do this about once or twice a year, Quandt said. "It's usually a surprise visit so that the kids don't know that we're coming." The Tama County Sherriff's Department routinely makes surprise visits to Tama County schools. No contraband was found during the search.
