The evening of Saturday, September 10, will be a night of fun, food, and music for the residents of Dysart, city and rural, and all volunteers that helped to clean up after the July 11 storm that hit the town. The evening will start at 6 p.m. on Main Street Dysart, with a pork loin sandwich dinner provided free of charge by the Tama County Pork Producers and the Dysart Development Corporation. Beverages will be available. Table service will be provided by Pioneer Hi Bred. People attending the party are asked to bring their own lawn chairs for seating. Serving will end at 8 p.m. The Buck Hollow Band will provide music throughout the evening. "We wanted to do something for the community. Everyone worked so hard to get out little town back to a somewhat normal look and get things going again in town. People have come to town and complimented us on our ability to get this much done in such a short time." said Dwayne Luze, DDC President.
The evening is sponsored by the Dysart Development Corporation.
