The Easter festivities at Norma Anders Library were well-attended Saturday, April 3, with about 60 children, parents and grandparents participating. The children enjoyed face painting and also decorated paper Easter eggs after listening to two new books, The Easter Egg by Jan Brett and Happy Easter, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff. Those in attendance were also entertained by Casey Tecklenburg, who led the kids in a game of "bunny says." Refreshments of lemonade and cookies were served while prizes were given to the lucky children who were sitting in specially-marked chairs and also to Brooklynn Dreiling for the closest guess of how many jelly beans were in a jar. The festivities wrapped up with an egg-citing egg hunt. Nearly 300 candy-filled eggs were hidden in the library for the children to find.
