The Union High School wrestling team battled Don Bosco and East Marshall at La Porte City on December 22, and lost both matches. Don Bosco beat the Union Knights by a final score of 59-14. Winning their matches for Union were Josh Dunkelberger at 152 pounds winning by a technical fall; Jake Reiter at 160 winning by fall; and Matt Gross winning his match 7-1. For the East Marshall match, Union lost by a score of 52-18. Winning their matches for Union were Logan Thomsen at 119 with a fall; Zach Purdy at 171 with a fall; and Matt Gross at 275 with a fall.
Don Bosco then took on East Marshall and won the meet by a score of 42-18.
