Lillian L. Zeman, 95, of Elberon, died Wed., Dec. 16, 2009, at Carrington Place in Toledo from complications of age.
Funeral Services were held Monday, Dec. 21, at Hrabak Funeral Home, Belle Plaine by Pastor James Perry of the Christian Fellowship Church. Burial followed at National Cemetery, Vining.
Pallbearers were Tod Zeman, Doug Sokol, David Sokol, Bill Murty, Alain Sienknecht and J. R. Shepard. Music was provided by Ruth and Donita Winkelpleck. Participating organizations were WMPF, Vining Church and Red Hats.
She was born Dec. 26, 1913 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Frank and Agnes (Poduska) Zedichek. She attended Marshalltown school and graduated from Ferguson High School. Sept. 21, 1932, she married George Zeman. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church of Vining and the Ladies Missionary Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, March 13, 1997, and daughter Shirley Sokol, a sister and a brother. She is survived by sons, Dennis (Barb) Zeman, Chelsea and Roger Zeman, Elberon; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
