George Schreiber, Traer produce man, took his own life at Waterloo Wednesday by taking poison. Financial affairs are attributed as the cause of suicide. Nov. 23, 1939 Mr. and Mrs. David Irvine of Gilman are the proud parents of a nine and one half pound son born Saturday at Marshalltown. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dicken are the parents of a son born Sunday afternoon in Vinton. Bob Lassen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Lassen, received a brain concussion in a football game at Hot Springs, Ark., on Wednesday night of last week. Nov. 19, 1959 Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Heckt are the parents of their first child, a son, born Tuesday, November 17, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Luze are the parents of a daughter, Ranae Jo, born November 10, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Nov. 13, 1969 Mr. and Mrs. MarlinThiel observed their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Nov. 11, with a group of about 80 friends. Mr. and Mrs. John Knight of Waverly are the parents of their first child and son born Tuesday, November 11, at the Waverly Hospital. Nov. 15, 1979 Mr. and Mrs. Ron Boldt of Dysart became the parents of a boy born October 14, at Schoitz Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. He has been named Randy Craig. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Schneider of Waterloo are the parents of their second child and daughter born Friday, November 2, at Schoitz Memorial Hospital. She has been named Jill Marie. Nov. 23, 1989 Troy and Christine Mangrich of Waterloo are the parents of a daughter, Stephanie Ann, born November 16, 1989. The Grand Champion Prospect Steer during the 1989 Cattle Congress is owned by Darrin Mehlert and Kendall Taylor, both of Dysart. Nov. 18, 1999 Doug and Andrea Dvorak of Clutier are pleased to announce the birth of their fourth child, a daughter, born Saturday, November 13, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. She has been named Tessa Ann. Laura Wilson, daughter of Bill and Janet Wilson of Clutier, has been notified that she has been selected for membership in the American Musical Ambassadors Band. They will tour several European countries for three weeks next summer. |
