The Huskies would have a service error at 24-20 in favor of Union, to finally end the match. "I was happy with our overall play tonight. Our serving was excellent, in particular, Lauren Bauer was sensational tonight. She has struggled lately with her consistency, but she was really on tonight. I was really happy with the play of all of our seniors. Ashley Hager had a very strong match for us. She had 19 kills, and had a .452 hitting efficiency for the night, Megan Clark was also very steady, contributing 5 kills, and 2 blocks. She also had to work very hard on serve receive, as she had 29 pass attempts for the match. I have to give Oelwein alot of credit, they played hard all night long. They served very aggressively at us, and dida nice job of hitting efficiently and played tough defense. We are very happy to get out of here with a win, and now must get our focus on playing #3 Class 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock in Waverly on Thursday night at 7pm. "Waverly is tall, athletic, and well coached, it will be a tremendous challenge for us."
