Parents of the couple are Glenn and Dorothy Thorne of Traer and Steven and Debbie Hammer of Muscatine. Grandparents of the bride are the late Jack and Nelle Erickson and the late Harry and Phyllis Thorne. The Rev. Jan Scott performed the 4:00 p.m. ceremony at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Maid of honor was Briana Bartlett, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennie Stoakes and Kim Degner, cousins of the bride, and Kimberly Krambeck, friend of the bride. Attending the bride was Kelly Anglin, friend of the bride.
Best man was Zach Hammer, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Thomas and Justin Ford, friends of the groom, and Ryan Thorne, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Brooklynn Currin, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Erik Martens, cousin of the bride.Soloist was Gwen Rajski, cousin of the bride. Seating guests were Bryan McNelly and Josh Kraushaar, friends of the groom.
Guest book and gift attendants were Austin Fuller and Becca Hunn, cousins of the groom, and Kaitlyn Martens, cousin of the bride.
Host and hostesses for the reception were John and Bonnie Taylor, cousins of the bride, and Geoff and Mary Hunn, uncle and aunt of the groom. The bride is employed by Panera Bread in West Des Moines. The groom is employed by Pratt Audio Visual in Des Moines. The couple lives in Urbandale.
