Union traveled to Vinton on July 10, for a doubleheader with the Vikings. In game one, the Knights were tied 2-2 through four innings, but Vinton scored three in the fifth and four in the sixth to put the game away. Garrett Prestemon had two hits for the Knights. Matt Prestemon took the loss allowing four earned runs on six hits and two walks.

In the second game, it was Blake Clark who held Vinton in check for 8 2/3 innings. He scattered 10 hits and struck out 14 keeping the Vikings off balance all night. Union bats could only muster three runs offensively in support of Clark. Cheyne and Jake Reiter each had two hits.

On July 13, Union traveled to third ranked Benton Community. In game one, Union bats stayed quiet as Benton eased to a 7-0 lead despite Matt Feuerbach allowing only five hits over six innings. Several miscues defensively proved costly for the Knights as they staged a five run rally in the seventh before coming up short 7-5. Matt Feuerbach had a three run double to go with a first inning single.

In game two, Benton blew the Knights out 13-0 banging out 13 hits off of Union hurlers. Jake Reiter had two hits for Union while Nate Bellmyer took the loss on the mound. Union finishes 13-16 on the regular season.
