Fifty children attended Be Creative @ Your Library over the four week summer story hour programming held June 10-July 1. During this time they played music, danced, sang, created works of art, made puppets and put on a show, and explored the moon. All the children's creative work will be on display at the Norma Anders Public Library at a family night/art show which will take place August 5 at 7:00 p.m. Open art day was held July 15 at the Norma Anders Public Library for 3rd through 5th grade kids. Participants in the "Be a Reading Star" program had the opportunity to create various works of art including crepe paper flowers, mosaics, puppets, masks, craft foam flip flops and paintings. Their artwork will be on display at the family night/art show August 5. Children are reminded that reading logs must be turned in by Friday, July 31 at to be eligible for prizes.
