W.R.A.P. workouts sessions will begin Monday, June 1 and continue through the month of June and July for Union Community School athletes in high school (entering 9th-12th grade next fall). Union middle school athletes are also welcome to attend. The workouts are open to boys and girls. The W.R.A.P. workouts consist of weightlifting, running technique (acceleration/deceleration), agility drills and ground based plyometrics. There are three sessions available each day with three workout days per week. Workout days will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The workout will range between 60-75 minutes. La Porte City sessions will be held at 6:30am and 5:30pm, meet near the weight room entrance at UHS. The Dysart session will be held at 5:00pm and you can meet behind the weight room entrance at UMS. Workouts will be held rain or shine. The majority of the workout will be held outside so dress accordingly. It would be best if you had shoes that have little or no heel.
