Union girls soccer

For the second time in as many months, the Union Knights girls soccer team defeated the Hudson Pirates. The Knights scored 10 goals, ending the match aground the 70-minuted mark. The team demonstrated general cohesiveness, possessing and passing the ball very well. Freshman forward Darian Powell found the back of the net six times bringing her season goal count up to 21. In addition to Powell, goals were tallied by senior forward Cathy Reiter, senior midfielder Emily Williams, junior forward Ashley Hager, and junior midfielder Lauren Bauer. Reiter topped the assists, setting her teammates to score five times. Powell had two assists while Williams, Bauer, Hager and freshman forward Hannah Wilson each had done.
