Charles Michael Tudor, 58, Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Traer, died suddenly Sunday, March 1, at his mother's home.
A Celebration of Life for Mike was held Saturday, March 7, for family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
He was born Dec. 24, 1950, in Muncie, Ind., the son of Audrey Vorba Tudor Sorrell. He graduated from North Tama High School, class of 1969. He served two tours in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. Upon his return he was employed with John Deere Company in Waterloo. He married Veronica Draper Jan. 29, 1976, and had two sons, Zachary and Zeb. They resided in Traer until they moved to Tempe, Ariz. in 1983. They later divorced and Mike moved to Sun City.
He had his own Snap On Tools business for many years then went into Real Estate and assessing houses for the state.
He enjoyed life to the fullest and was happiest when he was racing his dune buggy with friends at the sand dunes.
He is survived by sons, Zack and Zeb and wife Christy, Chandler, Ariz; mother, Audrey Sorrell, Sun City, Ariz; four sisters, Roberta Hulme, Apache Junction, Ariz., Patricia Abernathy and Nancy Caviness, Burlington and Mary Jeannie Sieck, Toledo; two cousins, Cindy Buresh, Traer and Roger Vorba, California.
