Wartburg student studies abroad in Venture Education program

WAVERLY, Iowa Several Wartburg College students will study abroad through the Global and Multicultural Studies Venture Education program during the 2008-09 academic year.

Wartburg offers Venture Education through a collaborative agreement with participating universities. Students have the opportunity to study a foreign language and immerse themselves in the culture. Internships are also available in many locations. Students must apply and be accepted into the program. Students participating in Venture Education during the 2008-09 academic year are: Dysart: Hilary Wieck, a religion major and community sociology minor, studied in Adelaide, Australia, for Winter Term. She is the daughter of Becky and Mike Lassen.
