WAVERLY, Iowa-Wartburg College has announced the top winners who participated in fall scholarship days Nov. 9 and Nov. 16.
Students interested in attending Wartburg College received Presidential and Regents scholarships ranging from $5,000 to full tuition.
During the daylong visits, prospective students write essays and interview with faculty members and students. The scholarship amount students receive is based on essay and interview performances, as well as academic merit. Scholarship recipients include: Buckingham: Catherine Reiter, daughter of Hal and Dee Reiter. Dysart: Haley Flores, daughter of Julie Flores. La Porte City: Emily Williams, daughter of Robert and Kathy Williams
